This project presented a unique opportunity. Our clients acquired a stunning Lake St. Clair home and just a few years later, they seized the opportunity to purchase the tiny house next door, which dated back to 1938. After demolishing the outdated structure, they added a charming pool house, ideal for accommodating friends and family. With both the main house and the new pool house surrounded by an untouched landscape, a cohesive design plan was imperative.

Senior Landscape Designer Brianna Carrier conceived a functional layout, featuring a quaint paver patio beside the pool house. Along the pathway leading to the dock, where the clients moor their boat, she designed a spacious step-down patio centered around a built-in fire pit. This patio offers ample seating and dining space, seamlessly connecting to the dock for convenient access.

The primary objective of this project was to create a “wow” factor from the lake, and the final result achieved just that. The clients were absolutely delighted with the outcome.
