For this new-build home, the homeowners were looking for a thoughtfully designed patio and front porch that complemented the clean, modern style of their house. In addition to creating inviting outdoor living areas, the project needed to solve front-yard drainage issues and maintain a simple, cohesive layout that felt intentional from every angle.

The finished design blends structure, function, and understated elegance. An upper patio constructed with Oaks Nueva Slab pavers in Marble Grey, accented by Belgard Holland Midnight borders and Oaks Market pavers, serves as the primary gathering space. Built-in seat walls and a natural wood-burning fire pit create a warm, welcoming focal point for entertaining.

Below the patio, a cozy walkout sitting area offers the perfect spot for quiet mornings with coffee. The project also included a new sidewalk, a large front porch, and a paver parking area that extends the driveway seamlessly.

To address drainage concerns, a dry river bed was installed in the front yard, blending practical water management with natural beauty. Oaks Nueva 150 wall blocks form the seat walls and fire pit, while smooth Oaks Laredo pillars and high-format slate-gray steps add architectural interest. The front porch features Belgard Mega Libre pavers and Melville wall blocks in soft Cotswold Mist, tying everything together with refined contrast.
